Key responsibilities

The CISO will be responsible for:

• identifying and assessing information security risks and defining acceptable risk levels,
• developing, implementing and monitoring information security policies, internal controls and processes,
• conducting regular security assessments of data centers, applications and services,
• overseeing compliance with the organization’s information security policy,
• maintaining an up-to-date inventory of information assets, critical systems, networks and related data,
• planning and coordinating business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery plans (DRP),
• coordinating security measures to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems,
• actively participating in security incident detection, response and remediation,
• providing expert guidance and advisory support to executive management and employees,
• collaborating with data protection officers and compliance functions,
• working closely with all organizational units and issuing binding security guidelines,
• raising security awareness and delivering information security training,
• reporting directly to executive management,
• monitoring relevant laws, regulations and standards in the field of information security,
• performing on-call duty when required,
• carrying out additional tasks essential to the information security domain as assigned.

Required knowledge and skills

• excellent command of the English language,
• strong knowledge of IT systems, applications and digital environments,
• advanced proficiency in MS Office tools,
• high level of independence, reliability and attention to detail,
• strong communication, advisory and leadership skills.
